Harry L. Duncan - President

Harry Duncan In 1987 I co-founded VITEK Mortgage Group. As president, I am committed to making VITEK a place of excellence for both our employees and customers. We are one team with one vision – providing a remarkable home buying experience. As an agency direct mortgage banker, we originate and fund most residential home loans in-house. Headquartered in Sacramento, CA, I am proud of the growth we have experienced, expanding into numerous offices throughout Northern California, Nevada, and Washington. With approximately 150 employees, my focus has always been to make VITEK the lender of choice in the regions we serve.

Prior to starting VITEK, I held management positions with Home Savings of America (later became Washington Mutual), where I received the prestigious President’s Award for Outstanding Loan Production in multifamily lending. In addition, I hold an AB in Economics from the University of California, Berkley. My professional experience includes leadership in residential lending, income property financing, and management of small to mid-size companies.

I am a Sacramento native and am an avid outdoor enthusiast. In my free time I enjoy navigating the white waters of our great western rivers and cycling.

Philip J. Duncan - Executive Vice President

Philip Duncan As twin brother of VITEK’s president, Harry Duncan, I joined VITEK in 1992 as a principal and leader in residential lending. As the company's first originator of home loans, my vision and expertise in sales and marketing have been instrumental in establishing VITEK with brand recognition in the regions we serve. Today, my focus is on providing exceptional marketing resources to our sales team, along with business development to support our growth initiatives, including builder, reverse mortgage, cultural and geographic diversity.

Prior to joining VITEK I was a top producer of home loans for many years. I began my lending career with Mason McDuffie/Weyerhaeuser, where I rose to Assistant Branch Manager. I then became co-owner at Criterion Mortgage Corporation before joining VITEK. In 2000 I was recognized as Sacramento Association of Realtors’® Affiliate of the Year. I currently serve on the boards of the Sales and Marketing Council for the North State Builder Industry Association and HomeAid where our mission is to end homelessness.

In addition, I graduated from the Mortgage Bankers Association School of Mortgage Banking and I am a certified Toastmaster. I earned my BA from the University of California, Davis in International Relations/Political Economy. I also attended one year at the Universidad Compultense in Madrid, Spain and I am fluent in Spanish.

As a second-generation lender and native Sacramentan, I am actively committed to our community outreach projects, including HomeAid and Volunteers of America. Known as an outdoor adventurer, I enjoy spending my free time in the backcountry white water rafting.

Denise Konigsfeld - Vice President of Production

Denise Konigsfeld I started my mortgage career 26 years ago in the Sacramento, CA region, where today I am still passionately supporting the community of customers, real estate agents and builders. The focus throughout my career has been to surround myself with a company and group of people whose mission is to create remarkable experiences for all involved.

For the first 12 years of my career I was a mortgage loan originator at National City Mortgage, where I built a successful team dedicated to serving buyers and builders of new home communities. I then went on to be a sales manager and eventually a branch manager. In 2008 I moved to Bank of America where I was a VP in their national sales force division and modification loan program. In 2012 I joined the vibrant and dedicated team at VITEK Mortgage Group, where today, I lead our mortgage loan originators in their personal and business growth. More importantly, I am intent on inspiring all to create relationships that are based on integrity, communication, and teamwork.

I believe buying a home is still one of the most prideful and important decisions one can make, and I've always felt honored to be a part of this process with our customers. I truly feel blessed every day with this as my purpose! On a personal note, I am happily married to my Cal Poly SLO sweetheart of 32 years and we have 3 wonderful children. We enjoy boating, Giants baseball and spending fun time with our extended families.

Evelyne Jamet - Sacramento Branch Manager

Evelyne Jamet I believe the most important thing in life and business is helping others and caring for those around us. As a branch manager, it’s my goal to ensure my team and I live this out in our everyday work, all while creating a sense of community and family in the office. As a team, we are all working towards the same goal – to create a great customer experience every day. VITEK’s tools, technology, and support help us fulfill this mission, so our borrowers feel they are in great hands.

In addition to helping my team and borrowers, I have the privilege and honor to teach a financial empowerment class for women at WEAVE. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband skiing, sailing, and travelling.

Katie Logsdon VITEK’s culture of unity and giving back to the community are just two of the many reasons I am so thankful to be part of this incredible team. As a branch manager, I strive to lead my team to accomplish our goals and ensure our clients receive a smooth and seamless transaction. I’m committed to growth and teamwork, providing future opportunities and a clear path of success for my employees.

The most important things to me in my personal life and business are balance and transparency. I am happily married to Jake and we have two amazing kids: Colt and Raegan. Cooking, entertaining, and spending time with our friends and family gives us balance between work and life. Jake and I are huge sports junkies and both played collegiate sports. We have season tickets to Stanford football and attend as many baseball games as possible. Go Giants!

Jason Russell - VITEK Direct Manager

Jason Russell As a sales leader, I believe it’s important to continually learn and grow, every day. I strive to create an atmosphere of education and training that helps our team be the best at what they do. I’ve worked for several mortgage companies and can truly say I have never worked for a company like VITEK. From the family atmosphere, to the focus on growth, we remain consistent on our mission to treat our clients as people and not just loan numbers. That’s incredibly important to me!

I enjoy spending time with my girlfriend, and my three dogs keep me busy acting like children most of the time. I love being involved with sports, and I have spent many years coaching youth baseball and basketball in Solano County. In my free time I play softball and enjoy scuba diving. I am an Oakland A’s season ticket holder and try to spend as much time at the yard as possible. I’m a voracious reader and probably read a book a week.

Esther Fuller - Reverse Mortgage Manager

Esther Fuller For me, the freedom to create great possibilities for seniors is an important ingredient in my life and business. The reverse mortgage business is a calling for me, not a job. I love what I do and am blessed to be part of a company that strives to make a positive difference in the lives of seniors. I have been with VITEK for over 15 years and love our culture of family and teamwork.

Family is very important to me and helping seniors and their families is at the core of why I love what I do. Although my family is spread around the country, I am grateful for their love, support, and giving hearts. In my free time, I enjoy watching movies, attending Sunday services at Capital Christian Center, listening to music, and spending time with my children and grandchildren.

Alan Wackman - Chief Operating Officer

Alan Wackman Since 1992 I have been leading and managing many facets of the mortgage industry. As Chief Operating Officer, I currently oversee VITEK’s operations and secondary marketing. With my diverse industry experience, I am constantly working to improve VITEK's business designs.

I began my career with the Small Business Administration where I provided home loans to people in disaster areas across the United States. From there I joined Bank of America as an underwriter, and then VITEK as a top producing mortgage loan originator, where I stayed for over 9 years.

To further advance my career, I joined a small startup where I helped them build a successful mortgage company from the ground up. I remained there for 6 years as a manager, playing a significant role in facilitating the merger between them and another large Sacramento, CA mortgage company. Upon completion of the merger, I returned to VITEK as part of the Senior Management Team.

In addition to my lending background, I am part owner of a local family winery and a partner in my family's farming business. I am very active in the community, and enjoy working with youth sports, including being coach to my sons’ baseball teams. I enjoy staying active and spending time with my family water and snow skiing.

Janet Lewis - Vice President of Operations

Janet LewisAs Vice President of Operations, I draw on my more than 30 years of lending-industry experience to lead and inspire VITEK’s mortgage operations, including processing, underwriting and funding. I am committed to working together with our operations and production teams to streamline the loan processes, improve efficiency and communication, and provide consistent and reliable service levels.

Before joining VITEK, I was Executive Vice President of Operations for Sierra Pacific Mortgage for nearly 21 years. My decision to join VITEK Mortgage Group was driven by the company’s values, commitment to customer service, and dedication to giving back to the community. I believe in their vision and commitment to building a positive work environment that ultimately provides our customers superior service.

In my free time, my husband Perry and I enjoy traveling, attending concerts, cooking and spending time together with our family and friends. I am passionate about my work and genuinely love helping our clients, whether it’s achieving the dream of homeownership or lowering their monthly mortgage payments with a refinance.

Lori Monheit - Closing Manager

Lori Monheit I have worked in the mortgage industry for nearly two decades, for several different lenders, and I can truly say VITEK offers something special. We are a true team, working together to see people realize their dreams and goals of owning a home, all while staying committed to excellent customer service. Our focus on collaboration and communication, along with weekly department meetings, help us grow as a team and find ways to be even better. Our department is focused on providing our customers a positive experience in the final stages of their loan process – funding and closing.

Keeping a balanced work and family life are very important to me. I have been happily married to the man of my dream for 22 years. We have three wonderful children and our first grandson. I am a wine and craft beer enthusiast and we love camping and traveling as a family.

Anne Byrd - Chief Compliance Officer

Anne Byrd I’ve been in the financial services industry for more than 30 years, with progressive roles in operations, internal auditing, and compliance/risk management. As VITEK’s Chief Compliance Officer, my focus is to help management balance business objectives with regulatory controls and expectations. I work alongside our team at all levels to develop practical solutions to help mitigate risk.

At VITEK, we are committed to ensuring our clients receive an experience that mirrors what we ourselves would expect to receive. For us, it’s not just about a loan, it’s about working collaboratively as a team to provide consistent, reliable service to our customers and business partners.

In addition to my industry experience, I hold a B.A. degree in History from Linfield College and professional certification as a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager. In my free time, I enjoy cycling, 10K and half-marathon walking events, traveling, gardening, and studying my family ancestry. I actively serve with Meals on Wheels and volunteer at our local hospital.

Greg Ekbom - Chief Information Officer

Greg Ekbom I've been managing technology processes and teams in a variety of environments for over 20 years.  I'm a zealot for providing efficient, pragmatic technical solutions to business problems.  As Chief Information Officer my goal is to provide VITEK a robust technological foundation to support our continued success, as well as leverage new technologies to enhance our ability to serve our customers.

My previous experience includes managing IT for a national wholesale lender, project management and production operations for a large mortgage servicer, building a residential property valuation Software as a Service platform for a technology startup, and managing online systems for a regional bank.

In my off hours I enjoy hanging out with my wife, reading, cooking, gardening, lifting heavy things, training in self-defense, geeking out on technology and laying on the couch with my dog Zeus.
